www.vintagepens.com was created and is maintained by David and Margot Nishimura.  David's interest in vintage pens dates back to his New York City graduate student days in the mid-1980s.  He is a former Director and Secretary of the Pen Collectors of America, and is a regular contributor to its journal, The PENnant.  Margot is a specialist in English Gothic manuscript illumination; the subject of her doctoral dissertation was the 14th-century Gorleston Psalter, now in the British Library.   Both David and Margot have been involved with antiques and collecting since childhood.
