8753: Sheaffer Self-Filling: early hard rubber lever-filler with hand-engraved yellow gold plated overlay; 13.65 cm long, rose gold filled clip and lever, #3 Self-Filling nib; floral engraving sharp, but typical areas of plating loss, the largest to the side at the bottom of the cap (this appears to be an almost inevitable result of how these hand-engraved Sheaffers were made, where the plating was applied after the engraving, necessitating a relatively thin coating).

8606: Sheaffer Self-Filling: black hard rubber ringtop lever-filler with rare and desirable slotted pattern gold filled overlay, 10.2 cm long; extremely smooth #2 Self-Filling nib opens wide with only slight pressure, note sealed hairline in barrel under overlay, initials "L T" engraved on cap indicia.

1208: Sheaffer Self-Filling: scarce extra-slender gold filled full overlay lever-filler, 11.8 cm long, finely engine-turned panels; "A.C.P.E." rather crudely engraved on indicia, somewhat toothy but very flexible #1 Sheaffer nib.

9112: Sheaffer pencil: gold filled, 13 cm long, fine parallel lines pattern, Nov. 5, 1918 patent imprint, plus "PAT. PEND'G"; uses 1.1 mm lead, like new but for brassing to crown, which appears to be the result of overpolishing rather than usage.

9111: Sheaffer pencil: gold filled, 12.9 cm long, smooth pattern, Nov. 5, 1918 patent imprint, plus "PAT. PEND'G"; uses 1.1 mm lead, little evidence of use, but shop wear (pinprick ding to barrel at shoulder of nose cone; brassing to clip ball and crown, which appears to be the result of overpolishing).
