13548: Eversharp pencil: rare gold filled model with trowel clip, first Wahl production, but predating Wahl's takeover; 13.5 cm long, "Check" pattern, marked "PATENTED", "20 YEAR GOLD FILLED", and "EVER SHARP", name engraved on barrel. Very hard to find these early examples in such nice clean condition.

12290: Eversharp pencil: rare smooth gold filled model with trowel clip, first Wahl production, but predating Wahl's takeover; 13.3 cm long, marked "PATENTED", "20 YEAR GOLD FILLED", and "EVER SHARP", very slight bump to edge of crown, another to the shoulder of the barrel towards the nose cone (see details), hardly any wear otherwise.

11752: Eversharp pencil: early production, gold filled, lined engine turning with hand engraved vine scroll, 13.45 cm long; "EVER SHARP" imprint, "GOLD FILLED" and "PATENTED"; a few light marks to the top of the crown, otherwise no dings. Made immediately after Wahl's takeover of Eversharp, uses 1.1 mm lead.

9497: Eversharp pencil in box: desk pencil (no matching fountain pen), 13.9 cm long, rosewood hard rubber barrel, chrome plated trim, uses 1.1 mm lead; in original box, with Spanish-language instructions. We have acquired a small hoard of these, and though they are new old stock, they have clearly not always been stored in a perfectly dry environment. The steel tip cones have rusted, but can easily be polished down (see photos) or replaced (the tips unscrew, and spares can be taken from other Eversharps). Several available.

Wahl 120 injector pencil: 1/10 14K gold filled oversized thick lead (3mm) model, 14.3 cm long, yellow end jewel of either Bakelite or celluloid; not strictly a Wahl-Eversharp product, but a side project by John C. Wahl, covered by US patent 2,210,845. Top quality manufacture, seldom seen.
