15475: Eversharp pencil: rare early model with trowel clip, first Wahl production, but predating Wahl's takeover; 13.3 cm long, smooht gold filled pattern, marked "PATENTED", "20 YEAR GOLD FILLED", and "EVER SHARP"; some dings and brassing towards the front of the barrel, but condition is otherwise very clean and much better than is usually the case with these early examples.

16086: Eversharp pencil: rare sterling silver model with trowel clip, first Wahl production, but predating Wahl's takeover; 13.3 cm long, "Check" pattern, marked "PATENTED", "STERLING", and "EVER SHARP"; one shallow bump to the crown, rubber band marks to lower barrel (see details); uses 1.1 mm lead.

11752: Eversharp pencil: early production, gold filled, lined engine turning with hand engraved vine scroll, 13.45 cm long; "EVER SHARP" imprint, "GOLD FILLED" and "PATENTED"; a few light marks to the top of the crown, otherwise no dings. Made immediately after Wahl's takeover of Eversharp, uses 1.1 mm lead.

14126: Eversharp pencil: early production, gold filled, lined engine turning with hand engraved vine scroll, 13.4 cm long; "EVER SHARP" imprint, "20 YEAR GOLD FILLED" and "PATENTED", a very early imprint usually found only on Eversharps predating Wahl's 1916 takeover, but here found with the Wahl-patent clip, suggesting manufacture immediately after Wahl's takeover of Eversharp. Initials engraved on barrel, uses 1.1 mm lead.

13329: Wahl-Eversharp pencil: smooth green gold filled ringtop, 10.65 cm long, excellent but for shallow flattening to shoulder of nose cose; uses 1.1 mm lead, early and uncommon imprinted mechanism.

15817: Wahl-Eversharp pencil: rare Fleur-de-lys pattern sterling silver ringtop, 10.7 cm long, uses 1.1 mm lead; even wear, name on barrel. Wahl applied for a design patent for this pattern in November 1918.

14966: Wahl-Eversharp pencil: gold filled, smooth pattern, 13.4 cm long, uses 1.1 mm lead; interesting presentation inscription on barrel, "LIEUT E.J. SHEEHAN/FROM/TROOP A" (New York State Police). Some bumps and marks to the tip and shoulders of the nose cone area, fine overall appearance.

9497: Eversharp pencil in box: rosewood hard rubber barrel, chrome plated trim, 13.9 cm long, uses 1.1 mm lead; in original box, with Spanish-language instructions. We have acquired a small hoard of these, and though they are new old stock, they have clearly been stored in a damp environment. The steel tip cones have rusted, but can easily be polished down (see before and after photos) or replaced (the tips unscrew, and spares can be taken from other Eversharps). Several available.

14805: Wahl-Eversharp Match Thin pencil: smooth silver-plated miniature ringtop, 7.85 cm long, uses 1.1 mm lead, short-lived and scarce model, with the silver version especially uncommon, appearing only in the 1924 catalog. Also sold as the "Tiny Eversharp". Appears to be new old stock, came to us with remains of original clear lacquer protective coating, now cleaned off.

14927: Wahl-Eversharp pencil: gold filled, uncommon version with matching engine turned internal mechanism, 13.3 cm long, "Grecian Border" pattern, clip with raised rib, uses 1.1 mm lead, name elegantly engraved on barrel.

Wahl 120 repeater pencil: 1/10 14K gold filled oversized thick lead (3mm) model, 14.3 cm long, yellow end jewel of either Bakelite or celluloid; not strictly a Wahl-Eversharp product, but a side project by John C. Wahl, covered by US patent 2,210,845. Top quality manufacture, seldom seen.

15519: Eversharp Skyline repeater pencil: black with stainless steel sleeve, nickel plated nose cone, 13.3 cm long, barrel has name imprinted, significant dents to back of barrel sleeve; uses .9 mm lead. Skylines with stainless caps are rare, but matching pencils are markedly rarer yet -- and both are more often seen with gold filled trim.

15679: Eversharp Skyline $64 repeater pencil: deep blue with solid 14K cap and trim, 13.25 cm long, uses 1.1 mm lead. Wartime plastic nose cone, barrel was cracked at juncture with gold cap and has been sleeved in brassed for a virtually invisible repair.

15227: Eversharp Skyline Executive repeater pencil: scarce oversize model, 14.2 cm long, black with green striped upper barrel, gold filled trim, gold plated "Thin Lead" marked nose cone uses .9 mm lead.
