13285: De La Rue Onoto: uncommon New York-made black hard rubber plunger-filler, 14.4 cm long, gold filled trefoil filigree overlay, over and under feed. Fully marked including 1906 USA patent date on section flange, barrel overlay is mounted on a chased and imprinted barrel. Onotos were made in the USA for only a short time, c. 1909-1912.

14740: De La Rue Onoto Ink Pencil: red hard rubber stylographic pen, 10.8 cm long, straight-cap eyedropper-filler with clean gold filled cap crown and ringtop. Unusual two-tone effect, using contrasting shades of red-orange hard rubber. Gold needle is intact though internal spring is somewhat deformed, stable sealed crack in hard rubber at tip (see detail), fully functional.
